Great first book! Short series (8 vol.) The story in this book seems to be progressing rather more quickly than in the anime, which is actually nice, it flows with more sense this way. 24 Years! They both have the same basic storyline, but other than that its pretty different. Rosette is pretty great as well, so far. Hey, I was wondering what the age rating was for this book. Someone like her should be on this earth for longer than that, so this novel was able to touch one of this reader's heartstrings. There's something just so wonderfully magical about a gun-toting nun that's contracted a demon. The emotions felt very real to me, real enough that I'd cry tears of sadness at the happy parts and tears of joy at the sad parts. Chrono Crusade is set in the height of the Roaring Twenties, where jazz is king, bootleg liquor flows freely, and the mob rules the streets.
